Reformation Theology:

My interpretation of the concepts of Reformation Theology is encompassed in the following Sermons given at Los Gatos Christian Church in 1992. Do note that while I believe that understanding Reformation Theology is important to fully understanding more of the nature of God, I don’t think that we can ever fully understand the mysteries of the Divine. I will not be at all surprised to find out in eternity that we had less that 0.0001% of the picture.

Secondly while holding to its importance, remember Reformation Theology is not a salvation issue and should never ever be a dividing factor amongst believers. Enjoy it for what it’s worth. If you disagree with me, that is very good, I encourage it. If you want, you can even email me and may we both learn from our discussions, just be prepared to defend yourself with verses and not with words like “I just can’t believe that God would …..”. My experience is that whenever people tackle this issue they aren’t always convinced but they almost always become more familiar with their Bibles. Why? Because most people who engage on this study come back saying that they are reading their Bible with more zeal and interest. So regardless of the final conclusion you reach, you’ll have grown in your knowledge of the Word.

Finally, I could be wrong, so make sure you get a good picture of both sides, this will allow you to make an informed decision. Thus I encourage you to read a refutation of some of this doctrine, go to my Dad’s Web Page , he disagrees with me completely on this topic and presents and argues for the opposing point of view.

At the end of the day “Don’t allow the consequences of your logic to force you to abandon that logic.”

Above all, have fun with the doctrine and the learning process.
